Is Celsius Vegan?

Celsius packaging

Vegan

Celsius energy drinks (all major lines: Originals, HEAT, Stevia, On-the-Go) are certified vegan, with no animal-derived ingredients confirmed by the brand's own FAQ and third-party vegan certification.

The catch: Taurine is the one ingredient that raises eyebrows, it occurs naturally in animal tissue, but the taurine in Celsius (and virtually all commercial energy drinks) is synthetically produced, and Celsius carries explicit vegan certification confirming this.

Brand

Celsius

Celsius states on its official FAQ that "CELSIUS and CELSIUS ON-THE-GO are certified vegan," and the brand's full product portfolio, including Celsius Sparkling, Celsius HEAT, Celsius Stevia, and the powder On-the-Go sticks, share the same certified-vegan status. Taurine is the only gray-area ingredient: naturally an animal-derived amino acid, but the commercial form used in energy drinks (including Celsius) is lab-synthesized and confirmed vegan by the certification.

Natural flavors are present but Celsius's vegan certification covers the full formula; no carmine, gelatin, or other animal dyes/agents appear in any documented Celsius ingredient list. No significant US vs.

international formulation differences have been documented for vegan status, and Celsius also states it does not conduct animal testing.
